``Tetra: Where is that noise coming from? It does not appear to be inside, but there is nothing outside either to cause this. It must be coming from Cosmo, but why? I had better call up Vanna as a form of emergency.

``Vanna: Zaa Tetra. ``Tetra: I think I am hearing an emergency distress beacon call, coming from Cosmo. ``Vanna: Okay, meet me at Cosmo ASAP. ``Tetra: Okay. I am on my way.

``Tetra: It is good that it has recognised our emergency frequency, but where is it coming from? ``Vanna: It has to be an emergency beacon, but where? Cosmo to Space Dock over. ``Jarry: Dock to Cosmo, go ahead. ``Vanna: We are picking up a distress call! ``Jarry: It is okay as it is Cepheus testing out our new system, but zarfs for calling in. ``Vanna: Tetra and I made a special journey up to Cosmo! ``Jarry: Nice one. Zimo.

``Vanna: Whilst we are here is there anything else we can do? ``Tetra: Is there any chance of fitting a camera up so we can see Airbase? ``Vanna: I am puzzled! Call up the cameras, top and bottom for the Saucer. ``Tetra: Here they are. ``Vanna: That is strange, surely there must be at least one more camera? ``Tetra: We are looking in the wrong place. ``Vanna: I agree, but what would they have called it? We have tried the usual words and most are in use with other things. The only other possible one is terrain, as in area of land, so what is the Italian for terrain? Try 'terreno'. ``Tetra: Bingo and we have a light on, in the middle panel near the top, but the target screen has gone black. ``Vanna: Qaa, qaa it has not! You are looking at space outside of the Saucer. ``Tetra: Silly me, so we have found it? ``Vanna: Switch the lower Saucer light on. ``Tetra: Wow, and there is a glow, so we do now have a different camera. Well done sis.

``Vanna: What is the latest on Oldie sat? ``Tetra: Let us take a look! That is different! ``Vanna: Go on! ``Tetra: Aligning solar panels. ``Vanna: Check the done list. ``Tetra: Zaa. It has completed co-ordinates checks. ``Vanna: So it has moved? ``Tetra: Zaa, and we are now on course. ``Vanna: Marvellous.

``Riss: Quano, and how are you? ``Kirin: So you are off to Deneb next wesk? ``Riss: Zaa. It might even be tomorrow, and our Captain has been advised. ``Kirin: They are repainting the whole of the Fundus, and that must be costing them a fortune! ``Riss: It certainly needs it, as it has not been done for over a decade. I also hear some of the wood was rotting away. ``Kirin: I will see you some time? ``Riss: I am off home as I have just finished my shift. Zimo. ``Kirin: Zimo.

{Vanna's Trullo, Meeting ~ 7}
``Vanna: We are off to Deneb, in the morning, and we have to take two bodies back to their home, which means we have to go to Atlantic City first to fetch them, as they were two names on the passenger list.

``Tetra: We should be able to make it in a qef, and we all have heard some fairy tale stories of what Deneb is like. ``Zola: What about inviting Chela? ``Vanna: I will consider it, but not on this trip, as we already have 12, and I have already ordered the food. I will have a few extra Hops to do in Ziggy on this trip. Actually Tetra could do two of them in Missy. ``Tetra: Agreed. ``Vanna: So Scotty, a final mail to the 12 passengers quin. Scotty: Agreed. ``Vanna: Master will be with us in the morning. So you all have to be on board by 10th time. ``Leila: What about Malcolm? ``Vanna: Sometime next week, as it will depend upon whether we get the Master or our Captain. We have already done more trips than anticipated, so it could be the S182.
