Alien Escapade º Episode 0794 - The Velocity: Gina, Cheb, Master, Nacra, Pilot, Riss, Skipper, Selina, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, ~ 11 [Cont:]``Master: Cosmo to Vulcan, approved to undock. ``Pilot: Hatches secured. ``Master: Mach 1 and leaving orbit. ``Tetra: 500Km and increasing distance from planet. ``Master: Mach 10 and Mach 14, and we will let her settle down. ``Pilot: The Hyperdrive button is in the middle of the Go and start buttons. ``Master: I have it, and pressing it now! Hooray, We have Hyperdrive. ``Tetra: Mach 14. ETA is 2 qefs. ``Cheb: That is good. ``Tetra: I have been sending data signals to Malcolm and Leila, and they should be receiving them after a long delay, although we are still out of range. ``Master: Have you found the Autopilot button? ``Pilot: It is in the same bank of 4 lights on your left and it is silver-grey so tap it and see. ``Master: Pressing it now. Bingo and the light, has come on. ``Pilot: Wonderful let us go and get a drink. [Cosmo Mess] ``Riss: The display says we are at Mach 14, does that mean we will beat them home? ``Master: Highly possible. ``Nacra: What about the quoin? ``Cheb: None of us has had time to check, but give them a flush first before using. ``Nacra. There are two, one for Cats and one for Bears. ``Cheb: Do not use the showers until we have time to decontaminate everything. ``Nacra: Sleeping quarters? ``Cheb: There are 6 units with 4 bunks in each. So you Cats can have 3 of them. We will still have lights out, in due course. There is also a Silent room, which takes 8, where you can go and relax in peace and quiet, and it should be sound-proofed. ``Tetra: Vanna, I think it is sleep time. ``Vanna: Is everything running normally? ``Master: Zaa. ``Vanna: Okay sleeping quarters and lights out in 5 units. {Lights out] ``Gina: Zila, zila. Food time. First sitting in the Mess. ``Gina: It has taken 2 years to get here, but we are all still pioneers. ``Riss: We could be home in less than two qefs? [Cosmo Bridge] ``Tetra: Vanna, we are receiving a message through from Leila. Glad you have made it out. Party when you get home. What is the delay in the Vulcan? ``Tetra: I will reply, half a qef behind, but we are still tracking her. ``Vanna: Wonderful. Keep sending our co-ordinates every, ora, so they can keep track of our progress. ``Tetra: I wonder what Leno will think now? ``Vanna: No surprises. ``Master: According to the figures we are running at half power. ``Pilot: That is odd, so try Mach 16. ``Master: Zaa Pilot. ``Tetra: It says we have Mach 16. ``Master: On 55% power. ``Pilot: Try Mach 18. ``Cheb: I have never known anything to be able to do Mach 18. ``Skipper: I am observing, and I can feel the increase in velocity. ``Tetra: We have Mach 18. ``Master: Okay and we must not rock the boat. ``Tetra: We have Mach 18 Pilot, so I suggest we stop being greedy and stay at Mach 18? ``Master: 60% of power. ``Tetra: Mach 18 has been confirmed. ``Vanna: What is going on, the display is saying Mach 18 which cannot be right! ``Tetra: We appear to be at Mach 18. ``Vanna: Blimey. We will soon overshoot and end up in Lacerta. ``Tetra: What a thought! ETA now 5-oras. ``Vanna: Blimey. I will get Gina to do us some snacks. ``Zola: So what is wrong? ``Vanna: Nothing. ``Zola: But the display! ``Vanna: Apparently we are travelling at Mach 18, so we will do a calibration check when we get home to see if it is correct. Gina is preparing us some hot snacks. ``Zola: Good. ``Riss: When we get home, we will be diving off. ``Nacra: I have had a word with Gina, and she too is going straight home, as it will be a qef before Jarry and the Captain get back. ``Vanna: Zarfs for letting me know. ``Cheb: I am on the first shuttle, so I am off to the Hotel, and I will catch up with you tomorrow. ``Vanna: Zarfs Cheb, and you have been a brick, and you have made life a lot easier for all of us, especially with all your skills. ``Cheb: It has been a wonderful experience, and I will come and see your Snakes tomorrow. ``Vanna: As Master is staying over, you can come up for a flight in them. ``Cheb: That I will enjoy. ``Vanna: Zola, am I taking you straight home? ``Zola: Zaa quin, especially after 7 qefs in space. ``Vanna: We are all meeting at Airbase tomorrow for a flight in the Snakes. ``Zola: Okay I will come over. ``Vanna: Pilot, are you staying over? ``Pilot: Zaa. ``Vanna: My place? ``Pilot: Absolutely.
