Alien Escapade º Episode 0687 - The Connectivity, P5: Captain, Carrell, Dalbir, Beagle, Jarry, Incus, Kirin, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, 10 {Space Walk Completed ~ 3} - [Cont:] ``Kirin: Confirmed. ``Carrell: Task completed Beagle and Captain, & nothing so far appears to be happening. ``Captain: We all deserve a rest. ``Tetra: It may take a couple of hours to reset itself, as it has to go through a self-test program. ``Incus: If the satellite does wake up, it may want to start moving. Therefore we must drift 10 Km away for safety, Captain. ``Captain: Valid point. I will do it now. ``Tetra: I have transmitted, to the Satellite Group, that we have triggered the start up procedure. Now we all wait in anticipation. ``Vanna: Well if nothing works after this, then we have done the best we can. ``Jarry: Drinks and hot canine baps. ``Captain: There is little more we can do at the moment. ``Beagle: We did agree to a Piggyback link up. ``Captain: Come on over now, and come down on top of us. ``Beagle: We will dock across you, although will it help, because you are circular? ``Captain: It could become tricky as we cannot gauge if you are too close at our sides. ``Beagle: In that case, we will have to come underneath you. ``Captain: Confirmed. ``Carrell: Eagle, we are ready for you to dock with us, underside. ``Jarry: Eagle, you have permission to dock on lower side. ``Carrell: 20 metres and closing on thrusters. ``Jarry: Full stop, Eagle. ``Beagle: Confirmed. 1 spec on up thrusters and drifting the rest of the way in, we hope. ``Jarry: You are looking good. ``Carrell: You are stopping short, Captain. What do we do? ``Jarry: About 5 metres, Captain. ``Captain: [Intercom] Tetra to the bridge, quin. Eagle, any ideas? ``Beagle: Qaa. ``Tetra: Zaa, Captain. ``Captain: They are 5 metres short to dock, and another burst, could send us spinning. ``Tetra: A space walk and anchor tow lines on the Eagle, and pull her in on the winch. ``Carrell: May I do it quin Captain, as I know the Eagle? ``Captain: If Eagle, agrees. ``Beagle: Confirmed. ``Captain: Go and get ready. The bears will help you with the tackle. ``Vanna: That will stop the Bears from arguing. ``Zola: Good job too, they will have plenty more opportunities in the future. ``Carrell: Ready, Captain: ``Jarry: Depressurising hold. Number 2 Drawbridge down. ``Carrell: Wow, this feels totally different, and my balance has changed. ``Kirin: Are you okay? ``Carrell: Fine, zarfs. Using thrusters on my back-pack to push me towards Eagle. Using my feet to stop the impact. --- Clicking hooks onto the haul. --- Returning to the Saucer. --- All clear: ``Jarry: Number 2 drawbridge up. Starting to winch now - 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 metres. [Clonk] ``Beagle: You have done it. ``Carrell: Disconnect towing equipment. ``Jarry: Pressurizing hold, so please come into the lower deck. ``Carrell: Certus. ``Jarry: Captain, all clear. ``Captain: Zenden. ``Beagle: Zarfs, Captain. ``Jarry: Pressure checks completed. ``Beagle: Opening inner hatch. ``Jarry: Opening outer hatch, and come on through. ``Captain: Welcome aboard, Eagle. ``Beagle: Zaffre, Captain. The other 5, crew are following through now. ``Captain: Dalbir, why are you not in the Scully? ``Dalbir: On my way, I presume with everything, and I will need Jarry's help? ``Vanna: The spicy lunches should have defrosted, as it is over the minimum 3 hours thaw time. ``Tetra: Yum, yum, I am hungry. ``Zola: And me. ``Selina: What about the others? ``Captain: This is a grand gesture, having two lots of crew, out in space, having lunch together. ``Vanna: A superb invitation. ``Zola: A perfect delight. ``Tetra: A tremendous achievement. ``Carrell: A well earned rest. ``Beagle: A success. [Cheers] ``Carrell: I like the different taste in food. ``Vanna: I will let Kara, know. ``Tetra: Did I hear a bleep noise from the laptop? I had better go and take a look. Help! It is responding. Initial test will take 2-hours to complete! So it is doing something. ``Vanna: Oh, that is marvellous news. ``Captain: Therefore we all had better stay here and enjoy our rest time, and Dalbir can prepare us another fresh pot of croak beans. ``Dalbir: I need 2 pots for you lot, and I am on my way. ``Kirin: I must admit it is nice to sit back and relax. ``Captain: Kirin, I want you to do a full status check. ``Kirin: Zaa, Captain, no peace for the wicked. ``Vanna: What is it now saying? ``Tetra: It is now doing auxiliary checks, Cont.
