``Vanna: I put off other things today to meet you, so what do you have to say which is so important? ``Gera: I was getting frightened with three cautions over my head, and a verbal threat from someone in the Centre. I have had enough anyway of being in the Chair. Therefore, this way it camouflages a hidden way of getting out. ``Vanna: I did warn you many times, so what are you going to do now for a job? ``Gera: I am not sure at the moment, but I might go to Algol. ``Vanna: That is a big change. ``Gera: Alternatively, there is a post going in West Hobbs, being in charge of a big organization, so I may take that for now. ``Vanna: I am not sorry to see you go. ``Gera: Typical. ``Vanna: What about Sarka? ``Gera: We are still seeing each other. ``Vanna: I am concerned that the Chief has not turned up anything else on the cartel. ``Gera: Yerba is still in hiding. ``Vanna: Zaa. I know where he is, but no one can get through the security barrier now without us knowing. ``Gera: How come? ``Vanna: You have to have your new ID card, before you can lift off to go anywhere. ``Gera: I did not know it was active! ``Vanna: That is the trouble with you Bears, you act first and think afterwards. ``Gera: Okay, I had better get mine updated. ``Vanna: Zarfs for dinner. Zimo.

{Rangers Outpost ~ 2}
``Sheriff: You can release the Bear, he is clean as a whistle, just lackadaisical and stupid. ``Kern: Zaa, sir, perhaps that will wake him up in the future. ``Sheriff: Wishful thinking, but you did right thing to bring him in. ``Kern: Zaffre, sir. What is happening about the next raid? ``Sheriff: The Chief is arranging it all from his Outpost, with a few new trusted Rangers, now that the past security officer will not be around for a long time. ``Kern: So none of us will know? ``Sheriff: I will only know when the Saucer comes in, at 2 in the morning, with a Ranger squad, and I will not be told until after the raid. ``Kern: I wondered why it was so quiet. ``Sheriff: Innocent Beings will want to protect the guilty ones, as their lives are also in danger.

{Space Dock Centre ~ 4}
``Nacra: Atlantic City has confirmed an order for 3 ID Card-Barriers, and I have had a mail from Hobbs City, saying it is a provisional order for two, but they cannot release any money at the moment. ``Yafo: Atlantic City can pay for them, so charge them ¢500 each, plus a thousand for the computer. If they want us to install it, that is extra. ``Nacra: I will get a pro-forma invoice out to Atlantic City ``Yafo: Add on another ¢100 for delivery. ``Nacra: Zaa, Yafo. ``Yafo: Has all our staff, got the new updated scroll-cards? ``Nacra: If the system is working, they must have. ``Yafo: I will go and see the Mob, to check on Portal One.

``Mob: Hi Yafo: Come and have a look. A transparent wall is each side of the new barrier and another wall over the top. ``Yafo: Wonderful. Can we get some more daylight in this roof or the outer wall, as it is too dark to see passengers? ``Mob: Just give us an order number and I will put it on the list. ``Yafo: 00161. ``Mob: Tetra, is adding the data in, at the Security Office. ``Yafo: Zarfs. I will go and find her. --- Yafo, how is it going? ``Tetra: Their program needs an update, as it is doing things differently to what it says. ``Yafo: I will get onto them, and have them over here on the next trip. ``Tetra: It should work so call the mob up. ``Yafo: [Radio] Yafo to Mob, try the barrier out, over. ``Tetra: Bingo. ``Yafo: [Radio] Yafo to Mob, active, over. ``Mob: [Radio] Good, over. ``Tetra: Anything else for today or is that it? ``Yafo: Fine, zarfs. Zimo.

{Skipper's Place ~ 2}
``Skipper: I will need your help in the next few qefs, as they are clearing all the rubble, and I have hired a Hopper-bulldozer with operator, so they can clear the back lot as well. We could even dig out a cave. ``Jabo: That is going too far, but absolutely I will spare the time, to come round after work. ``Skipper: I wonder what we may find under this lot? ``Jabo: A wormhole!
