Neither can we entice pilots, to come and live at this the east end of civilization. ``Nacra: We need two Air hostess, as I am running more ads, owing to needing a replacement for Ming as well. ``Qualla: They need to be local, because it is over and back twice a qef, but we cannot find anyone who wants the job on a regular basis. ``Kirin: It is quite a cushy little job, so who will take the bait? ``Captain: Any other suggestions?

``H-Pilot: Quare quin? ``Captain: Leila? !!translating! ``H-Pilot: You need an extra pilot, then what about me? [laughter]. ``Captain: Well that is a turn up for the books. ``Leila: In a sense, it is as easy as ABC. ``Qualla: That is an incredible idea. ``Zola: How are you going to get the Oligarchy to agree on this one? ``Vanna: I am not against it, but it is the implications of it. ``Dalbir: I approve. ``Jarry: Me too. ``Kirin: Confirmed. ``Nacra: When I can get a word in, I also approve. ``Captain: This is unbelievable to have everyone agree to a non-existent proposal. ``Nacra: Let us take a vote? ``Leila: Qualla, the usual ‘emergency meeting’ procedure? ``Qualla: Approved. ``Leila: So you too are not against it? ``Qualla: Qaa. ``Leila: Now Malcolm, is this what you really want? ``H-Pilot: I will speak in Chinese English, the long answer is yes. ``Captain: You will have to learn our language backwards. ``H-Pilot: You two Cat Girls, have a translation package, and we can start adding more into it. ``Qualla: Captain, With your approval, I will go and lodge this now, for consideration. ``Captain: Confirmed. ``Captain: Kara, this is Malcolm. ``Kara: Zenden. ``Malcolm: Zenden and greetings. ``Leila: Greetings is an Earth term. ``Kara: Greetings, and I will remember that one. The usual drinks? ``Malcolm: Zaa, quin. ``Captain: What do you think of Malcolm flying for us? ``Kara: Regardless of needing pilots, an excellent idea.

``Qualla: Zibo, Jota. ``Jota: Zibo, Qualla. ``Qualla: I request an Emergency Meeting for immediate discussion with the main committee, to request an application for Malcolm to become a trainee Saucer pilot for Space Dock. ``Jota: Wow! What a good idea. ``Qualla: Therefore, I submit an application which has full support of everyone. ``Jota: I will go and do this now, and I will give it to Gera, under his nose. Will he blow another gasket? ``Qualla: He will not have time to think! ``Jota: That should help.

{Chamber of Sarka, E5 ~ 2 + Gera}
``Sarka: Now what is eating you up? ``Gera: They have done it again? ``Sarka: You are worse than Scotty at times. ``Gera: Cheeky. I have told them off many times to stop bringing these emergency applications as they can all wait. ``Sarka: I think you ought to go and see Dr Poult. ``Gera: Qaa chance. ``Sarka: We could make you go as in a ‘vote of no confidence’. ``Gera: What about the other cultures, which are still against our alien friends? ``Sarka: Things have improved dramatically over the last year. ``Gera: Vanna is also looking to buy plots of land, and she mentioned something about a ‘cul-de-sac’, but I do not know what it means. ``Sarka: That would mean we would have 3 settlements, how nice. ``Gera: We still have problems with the other 2 settlements. ``Sarka: They have settled their differences, so why does it matter? ``Gera: I am trying to stop trouble. ``Sarka: Anyway what have you done about this meeting? ``Gera: Everyone one wants it approved, so it has gone straight to main meeting at 15th time. I am presuming you will be there? ``Sarka: absolutely, and you had better cool off, otherwise I will request the ultimate. ``Gera: Cheeky.
