``Vanna: OH dear. Although we have everything working here, which is a bonus, the link to Hobbs City will still not work. I think I have made a booboo somewhere. ``Tetra: You mean we cannot do it? ``Vanna: Not at the moment, and I will need a parallel data cable connection after all. ``Tetra: This is over my head. ``Vanna: I need one cable in for Space Dock and another Cable for Hobbs City and one for our Fundus, via the Relay Company. ``Tetra: I still do not get it! ``Vanna: I am not sure either, but it is going the wrong way, so we have to use two pairs of cables. I will send a mail to the Relay Co, requesting twin cable connection and see what happens. --- All done, and that is our lot for today. ``Tetra: Okay, sis. Zimo.

``Vanna: It is customary on Earth, that the gentleman pays for the meal. ``Gera: You will be lucky up here. ``Vanna: True, but you are paying anyway. ``Gera: Cheeky. ``Waiter: Zaa. ``Gera: Two fish specials and yellow juice. ``Waiter: Zaa. ``Vanna: What are our roles on Algol? ``Gera: To meet the equivalent to our Oligarchy, but they have a different system to ours. ``Vanna: Ours, was an unusual system for me to get used to, although much simpler. -|- ``Waiter: Food. ``Gera: So you like our system? ``Vanna: Zaa. So I am Ambassadress? ``Gera: Zaa. Independent advisor to the Oligarchy, which means we will take on board your individual recommendations. ``Vanna: So you are going as Chair and Deputy Chair, which we would call a PM & DPM. ``Gera: That is about it. Qualla and I are hoping to get some mutual agreements, but that is all. ``Vanna: Fortunately we have a head-start, as we know Auntie. ``Gera: Zaa, it has given us prestige and status. There will be the five of us, as the Chief and Sheriff are coming, especially as security is top priority on our list. ``Vanna: It is a good job that Space Dock, has been upgraded. ``Gera: Just in the nick of time.

``Vanna: However, whether the Reporter will want to do some interviews, we will have to wait and see. And we are bringing Chauffeur, back with us? ``Gera: It is a bit crowded. ``Vanna: We will be leaving at 7th time, tomorrow. ``Gera: How do you know that? ``Vanna: I have just been advised. ``Gera: Oh heck. I had better get back to the Office. ``Vanna: I will go and fetch, Zola. ``Gera: Until tomorrow. ``Vanna: Zimo.

``Jarry: Whist I am away, you could go out with Ming. ``Gina: That is an idea, I will suggest it to her. ``Jarry: You can make arrangements for the Temple, for my return. ``Gina: Wonderful. We may go out on the town. ``Jarry: Why not, because I will. They have lots of snow in their mountains, so I might go skiing, as it is something we are unable to do here. ``Gina: Bring some brochures back. ``Jarry: Message in, we are going in the morning. ``Gina: I can have some peace for a couple of qefs. ``Jarry: Cheeky. I think we had better make the most of it. [Hugs] ``Gina: So you will need a rest. ``Jarry: Good.

{Skipper’s Place + Leila ~ 2}
``Leila: There will be another Earth trip after Algol, as our Cepheus trip is again on hold. ``Skipper: Something will have to give. ``Leila: As you say things move slowly up here. ``Skipper: Now you can see why. ``Leila: Otherwise, you never have time to achieve anything. ``Skipper: Exactly that. ``Leila: So where are you going to take me, now? ``Skipper: I have run out of ideas, so you choose. ``Leila: There is a local playgroup on. ``Skipper: Okay, sort it out, as I cannot go far. ``Leila: How well is the change in timetable working out with Hobs City? ``Skipper: It seems to be okay, and we have had no complaints. ``Leila: Make it permanent. ``Skipper: If you intend sticking around, I will. ``Leila: We are still limited to what we can do, even in Hobbs City. ``Skipper: Okay, you can help me to draw up the paperwork? ``Leila: Certus. Also make it ten units later, as it can be a bit of a struggle with local logistics. ``Skipper: Okay.

Leila: No Skipping.
