Alien Escapade ºº Episode 0213 - The Inquiry: Captain, E1, E2, E3, E4, E6, Kara, Leila, Sandy, Scotty, Vanna, Zola, ~ 12 {Space Dock Tower ~ 3 + Team} ``Scotty: We will submit an application to the Oligarchy, but we need this done now, so how much and how quick can you arrange it? ``Captain: You are putting me on the spot! ``Zola: Nothing you cannot handle! ``Captain: We get charged ¢1,000 per Being, and in your case a ¢250 each for the flight. ``Vanna: Fine, how soon can you arrange it? ``Captain: Go and see Kara in the Restaurant, and I will mail them now. {Space Dock Restaurant } ``Kara: How nice to meet you all! What can I get you? ``Zola: We have eaten, so some hot drinks! Do you have some Grunay tea? ``Kara: Zaa! We do, but it is not often asked for, and how about a Rock cake? ``Zola: Zaa. ``Sandy: So what has she ordered? ``Leila: You will shortly see, smell and taste, but it is rarity special tea. --- ``Kara: Here we are! Drinks and cakes for you! --- Zarfs. ``Sandy: It is tangy like a cross between a strawberry, raspberry and grapefruit. ``Vanna: That’s okay, then! ``Scotty: I like these cakes, I will have to find somewhere I can get them. ``Sandy: Neither are they sweet. ``Captain: Well I have some good news, although it is not generally opened to the public, I have persuaded them to agree, as it is special circumstances. So the Saucer will be free after 9th time on Quattuor qef. ``Leila: That is two days time. ``Captain: Who is picking up the tab? ``Vanna: I will, and I will pay for Qualla, so mail him please. ``Captain: That is ¢7,500 please! ``Vanna: My Scroll-Card! ``Captain: Zarfs. ``Vanna: We can all go swimming tonight, and it is ¢6 this week, as you have to pay for Sandy at 20th time. [Next Day] {Elders Full Hearing + Captain and Team} ``Elder 3: This meeting is to discuss the merits of the incident and the moral issues involved, on whether we should continue the runs to Earth. Therefore I believe that we should discuss the incident first, to ascertain whether the Captain made the right decision. Captain, please take the stand! ``Elder 2: Why did you not just withdraw and come back home? ``Captain: It was too late, because they had spotted us first. ``Elder 5: How come that you did not spot them? ``Captain: We had just come out of Hyperdrive and have no instrumentation for detection. ``Elder 1: What happens when you have two Saucers close together? ``Captain: It is all been done on visual, as there are only a few of our Saucers. ``Elder 4: I put it to you, that you wanted to try out your new ray guns to justify the expense! ``Captain: It is standard procedure to arm ray guns as a precaution. We did go for maximum range, but the Stealth Bomber turned the wrong way, therefore we had a direct hit, even though he was cloaked. ``Elder 2: How did you see him, if it was cloaked? ``Captain: Our computer system gave us a reconstruction of image. ``Elder 3: Thank you friends. I now call Vanna to the stand! ``Elder 2: How can you be an independent witness, when you were in the Saucer at the same time? ``Vanna: It is all true, on what has been said. It is what happened and I only saw it, on smart screen. The local technical information available back on Earth does state, that the Stealth Bomber can go higher, subject to fuel, oxygen and heat being available, but he exceeded those limits. ``Elder 6: Why did the Captain not let it run out of fuel? -I- Captain: I should answer this, Chair! It was too late as we were being tracked long range, and other fighters and refuelling aircraft were on their way. ``Elder 3: Any other questions? [- Qaa-] Elder 1: What I feel we need to do is to conclude that the Captain did made the correct decision, and that everyone has come home safe and well. --- Elder 3: All in favour? --- Unanimous, Chair. ``Elder 1: I thank you friends.
