{Conference Hall - Press Meeting ~ 1}
`Elder 1: Zibo and thank you all for coming. There have been many rumours going around, and one I note in the Press saying ‘Corrupted Corporal Corruption’. Therefore, the only thing to do is to show complete transparency and that is why we have called this Press briefing. I hand you over to Elder 3 who will explain further! ``Elder 3: Since the deposed old Elder 08 who is still under investigation, it has implicated all of us at the Oligarchy. Elder 1 and Elder 6 have been cautioned. However, they both deny any wrong-doing, but the auditors have since been implicated, because the figures do not tally up, although approved. ``Elder 4: I have been trying my hardest to find out where these errors are, for over 6 months now, but when we updated our computers to a different system, this showed up even more problems. Therefore, I have ordered an Interim Report. However, things have got even worse, as with the temporary freezing of our bank account. Moreover, I decided upon an independent authentication report, and lastly we agreed to appoint new auditors, and to start again and go back at least 6 years, which will take a while for them to be analysed and re-compiled. ``Elder 3: Any Questions?

``Press 1: How come that Elder 2 and 5 have not been cautioned?
``Elder 2: Things have been going on behind my back, which I should know about, but the committee has decided to exclude me, so I will not needlessly be involved.
``Elder 5: All this has been sprung upon me as well at short notice, after a new legal document arrived from the Hierarchy, which I also knew nothing about.
``Press 2: Can you please explain, Hierarchy?
``Elder 3: There were some loopholes in our constitution and they would stop us in implementing the changes. Therefore we had a trip to Planet Q to gain a court order, so we can make these changes.
``Elder 2: Considering I am deputy Chair, and I knew nothing about this until yesterday, there is definitely a mistrust within the Elders, which has to be resolved.
``Press 3: This does appear to be a conspiracy, so what do you have to say?
``Elder 3: Some of us Elders have already made sworn statements via the Sheriff, and we ask other Elders to do the same stating that they are not involved in any illegal activities, past or present. This goes back to the Chair’s Predecessor. We all want to get to the bottom of this, which is why we are here today.
``Elder 1: Owing to the on ongoing investigations we cannot say any more at this moment. Moreover, I will call another Press Conference when we can come to a conclusion. Thank you all for -|- coming
``Press 4: Why has the old Elder 01, not been called in for questioning?
``Elder 3: That is down to the Sheriff’s Outpost and not us.
``Press 5: Why have the old Auditors not be questioned?
``Elder 3: Again that is down to the Sheriff’s Outpost.

``Dr Poult: Zaffre for coming in. I see that you lived on the northern side of our planet for ten years! What caused the break up? ``Kara: We did not appear to have any more love left for each other. ``Dr Poult: This was a drastic action on your part? ``Kara: I do not know! That is how it happened. ``Dr Poult: Your Bear son has now grown up, but you left him behind as well, why? ``Kara: I am not used to being questioned like this! It is just the way it happened and he was adopted, because we all came from Algol. ``Dr Poult: What made you come to the Citadel? ``Kara: I Just wanted somewhere different to start again, with a clean break! What has this got to do with going on this course? ``Dr Poult: We need Beings to have good communication skills, as this shuttle run is an endurance test. ``Kara: Oh! ``Dr: Poult: I think I have enough for the report, and zaffre for your time. ``Kara: Zimo.

Kara: Grunt.
